Thermocouples for temperature measurement up to 1,800 °C (3,272 °F)

They are usually used to measure the temperature of the liquid, steam, gaseous media, and solid surface.

The temperature measuring for thermocouples is achieved by measuring its thermoelectrical potential. Its two thermodes are temperature sensing elements made of equivalent conductors with two different compositions and one connected end. In the closed loop made of two kinds of conductors, if a different temperature arises on the two endpoints, then a certain thermoelectrical potential will be created.

The thermoelectrical potential intensity is not related to the sectional area and length of the copper conductor but to the properties of the conductor materials and the temperature of their two endpoints.

As a sensor for measuring temperature, industrial assembly thermocouples are usually compatible with display instruments, recording instruments, actuators, PLC and DCS systems. It can be used to measure the surface temperature of liquid, steam and gas mediums and solid from 0°C-1800°C during industrial production.

The thermocouples, such as Rhodium Platinum30-Rhodium Platinum6, Rhodium Platinum10-Platinum, Nickel-Chromium-Nisiloy, Nickel-Chromium- Silicon-Nickel-Chromium-Magnesium, Nickel-Chromium-Cupronickel, Ferrum-cupronickel and Cuprum-cupronickel, are in accord with International Standards.

Sheathed thermocouples differ from conventional thermocouples in their smaller construction and their ability to be bent. Due to these features, sheathed thermocouples can also be used in places that are difficult to access.

Sheathed thermocouples consist of an outer metallic sheath, which contains the insulated internal leads, embedded within a high-density ceramic compound (mineral-insulated cable, also called MI cable). Sheathed thermocouples are bendable and may be bent to a minimum radius of five times the sheath diameter. The extreme vibration resistance also supports the use of sheathed thermocouples.

JET-103 ceramic beaded insulator thermocouple assemblies are used in extremely high-temperature industrial applications.

These assemblies are primarily used in conjunction with ceramic closed-ended protection tubes. An extensive range of thermocouple calibrations, connection heads, wire gauges, ceramic insulator diameters and insertion lengths can be selected for this model.

The assembly provides a neck extension with a female threaded union for installing directly to a ceramic protection tube fitting.

Replacement thermocouple sensors can be configured for this model.

The explosion-proof thermocouple is a kind of temperature sensor. Designing a junction box and other components with sufficient strength to seal all parts that generate sparks, arcs, and dangerous temperatures into the junction box. When an explosion occurs in the chamber, it can be extinguished through the joint gap and Cooling so that the flame and temperature after the explosion do not pass outside the cavity.

It is widely used in the chemical industry automatic control system.  Adjustment and control. The thermocouple measures temperatures up to 200 °C, suitable for applications such as plating, pickling, and acid baths. The sheath is constructed of SS316 / SS316L and then Teflon (PTFE) coated to protect the element from corrosion and heat degradation by the acidic or alkaline medium.
